Masque is an emerging independent singer, songwriter and producer who began writing his own original music in 2020. The singer made his professional solo recording debut in 2021 with the single “Afraid”. That track introduced a talented singer/songwriter with taste for dark and dramatic adult contemporary pop ballads.
Classically trained on piano since childhood, the otherwise anonymous Masque always obscures his face in public with a series of masks and other disguises. The openly gay singer uses both his music career and social media presence as platforms to bring attention to issues that affect the LGBTQ+ community.
“Hope” is the brand new single from Masque, released worldwide via all major streaming services on October 5, 2022. As the song opens we find the singer alone at his piano. He leans into the mic for a wistful and melancholy dark pop soliloquy. He delivers an emotionally powerful performance. As the song progresses the ensemble expands to include an orchestral string and percussion arrangement.
