Monti Korbelle is an emerging independent singer, songwriter and producer who made his solo professional recording debut in 2020 with the album Global Carbon Tax Economy. That record introduced a multi-talented, multi-disciplinary artist with genre-fluid sound. Mixing elements of pop, rock, r&b and hip-hop, Korbelle creates distinctive soundscapes built on broad cinematic themes.
Originally from Wisconsin, Monti Korbelle is now based in San Antonio, Texas. He first cut his teeth as a producer nearly a decade ago, making beats and humorous remixes for his college friends. Since his debut, the prolific musician has released three full length albums.
“Confirmation is Everything” is the brand new single from Monti Korbelle’s latest album Our Conclusion is in Arizona, released worldwide via all major streaming services on November 11, 2022. The song is a hypnotic meditation on love, fidelity and fear. Musically the track floats in an ethereal cloud that is equal parts Gregorian chant with Motown soul.
Ambient synths and disembodied vocal harmonies expand across the horizon. As the track progresses it ventures into the experimental electronic pop world pioneered by artists like Peter Gabriel, Laurie Anderson and Kate Bush. The song is one part of the concept album’s larger narrative which follows the five stages of grief, from denial to acceptance.
