Zerk is an independent rapper, songwriter and producer who dropped his debut album in 2011. That record introduced a multi-talented hip-hop artist and record label owner from Flint, Michigan who has made a name for himself with an impressive rapid-fired flow and a razor-sharp wit. He gained widespread recognition in 2017 after winning Anno Domini Nation’s “Best Rapper Alive Contest” with his song titled “Prove It”.
Since that first record, the prolific producer has released mixtapes, albums and dozens of singles via his Systemattic Music imprint. He has connected with hip-hop fans all over the world with tracks like “Rodeo” and the award-winning “Prove It”. He has dropped a trio of new singles in 2022.
“Kingdom” is the brand new single from Zerk, released worldwide to all major streaming services on November 4, 2022. On the track, the rapper tells and epic tale set to a cinematic soundtrack. Orchestral strings and percussion meet rock drums and guitars as the emcee steps to the mic. He delivers a mind-blowing verbose chopping rap as he tells his hip-hop autobiography. Meanwhile, ethereal backing vocal harmonies and ambient synths expand the horizon.
