Black Oxygen – Lyle Brothers David & Nick Continue to Reach Exciting ‘New Heights’

For more than a decade, Black Oxygen has been shaking up the music industry. They are the Lyle brothers, David (vocals, guitar) and Nick (drums, keys). Ever since the Kansas City natives were winning Battle of the Bands contests in their hometown, they have appeared on stages, screens and radio dials across the globe.

The versatile rockers have molded a distinct and infectiously catchy multi-genre sound. Fans around the world are hooked on their unique mix of pop, rock and hip-hop. The group’s broad appeal has landed them on multiple international rock charts with singles like “Everything”, “Life is Beautiful” and their Post Malone cover “Rockstar”. 

The award-winning brothers have made inroads into all avenues of media. Their music has been used in major television productions on ESPN, the NFL Network and others. Their recent single “Laceyville” hit #1 on the Most Added Billboard mainstream rock indicator chart, #1 on the SM Radio Chart and top of UK iTunes Apple Music chart. The song’s video was shot at the band’s sold out show at the legendary Viper Room in Los Angeles, California.

“New Heights” is the brand new single & video from Black Oxygen, released worldwide via all major streaming services on August 22, 2022. Modern rock guitars meet a hip-hop beat, ambient synths and ethereal vocal harmonies on this powerful and inspirational rock/hip-hop anthem. Both the song and its moving video tell the story of the Lyle brothers’ rise from basement jams to packed arenas.

It is a story still being written. They have collaborated with superstars ranging from Tech N9ne to actor Danny Trejo. The brothers even have their own “Bangin!” BBQ sauce, available at Walmart. It was ranked fourth in the country by the National Grilling & BBQ Association.
