GATSINGA Julien is the professional name of singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Julien Gatsinga. The Barcelona-based Rwandan/French musician made his professional solo recording debut in 2020 with the single “Poison (Live)”. That track introduced a multi-talented artist with a soulful and musically sophisticated sound.
After a quiet 2021, Gatsinga made his return in May of this year with the 4-song EP “Monsters I Can’t Control”. The prolific songwriter followed this Summer with the bluesy lament “Burning Bridges”. He has connected with fans around the world thanks to visceral, deeply personal and emotionally fearless tracks like “Poison”.
“Under The Tree ” is the brand new single from Gatsinga Julien, released worldwide on November 14, 2022 via all major streaming services. Recorded live in the Rwandan capital of Kigali, the track is a smooth jazz/r&b love song. An ensemble of bass, drums, keys and guitar lay down a sultry fusion jam as Julien sings a soul-infused escape fantasy about two lovers burning the hours lounging ”under the tree’.
