Dr Jaymz is an independent electronic music artist who is coming at the genre from an entirely new direction. By his own estimate, he is the first Christian missionary to become an EDM artist. He makes music to offer club kids, ravers and festival goers an alternative to the debauchery and abandon inherent to the EDM scene.
Originally from London, Dr Jaymz is now based in Boston, Massachusetts. He made his professional solo recording debut in 2021 with the single “Mind”. That track introduced a talented DJ & producer on a mission to deliver a message of hope & love to the younger generation. Since that first single, the prolific producer has released eight more as well as the 6 song EP Fresh Start. Musically, he cites superstar DJs like Tiesto, David Guetta and Calvin Harris as inspiration.
“On Fire” is the brand new single from Dr Jaymz, released worldwide via all major streaming services on November 11, 2022. As the track opens, ambient synths paint an ethereal scene. The singer steps to the mic and tells of finding expelling the negativity and bad choices in his life by immersing himself in his faith. Percussive synths paint the periphery as the beat drops on a smooth mid-tempo house groove.
