Ramzy a veteran DJ and producer who is making his solo professional debut in 2022. The Switzerland-based songwriter and beatmaker has been making music for 15 years. All of his work has been behind the scenes, writing and producing for other artists. In 2022 he is taking his turn at center stage.
Over the years the versatile artist has worked in hip-hop, pop and EDM. His inspirations range from pop icons like Michael Jackson, hip-hop stars like Drake and Migos and house legends Tiesto, David Guetta and Regard. In his solo work Ramzy weaves them all influences into a chill, genre-fluid EDM groove.
“Back to the Rhythm” is the brand new album from Ramzy, released worldwide via all major streaming services on October 1, 2022. The 13-song collection is a fantastic showcase for a veteran producer, finally stepping into the spotlight. Throughout the record, he weaves a world of sounds and styles into his psychedelic house groove.
From the cool experimental funk of “Diamonds” to the chilled deep house vibes of “Back to the Feeling”, Ramzy lays down a smooth and fluid dance vibe. He dives into some smooth r&b on tracks like “Hold My Heart” and dream-pop moods on “Golden Times”.
A number of the songs on “Back to the Rhythm” feature sophisticated musical arrangements. Electric piano jazz meets EDM on “My Eyes” while “Zotu te Gjkofte” introduces some international worldbeat flavor. Ramzy ties all of his stylistic experimentation with a hypnotic deep house groove and smooth synthwave vibes. A trio of collaborators join Ramzy on the album. They inlcude his cousin and keyboardist Bukikeys, longtime friend Nesbeatz and vocalist Dren Qallaku.
