Skultik and Reinis Liepa are two rising Latvian stars who recently came together for a genre-bending new collaboration. Ričards Šulcs is Skultik, an EDM artist and producer who made his professional solo recording debut in 2015 with the single “Rescue Me”. That track introduced a talented young producer with a versatile and eclectic sound.
Reinis Liepa came to prominence after placing 4th in the 3rd season of Latvia’s version of X Factor. In recent years the popular singer has dropped a string of successful releases as a solo artist, withs his band Street Conference and with well-known Latvian musicians. He regularly performs at concerts and festivals throughout Latvia.
“Run” is the brand new single from Skultik and Reinis Liepa, released worldwide via all major streaming services on December 1, 2022. The track opens on a dark ambient trap vibe. Reinis Liepa steps and soon the beat drops on a hard rock groove and a wall of heavy metal power chords. The singer delivers an emotional and powerful self-empowering anthem over heavy alt-rock guitars and hard EDM grooves.
