NIFF Drops Chill New Self-Titled EP

  • by
niff

NIFF is an emerging independent hip-hop artist who made his professional solo recording debut in 2017 with the album Legacy. That record introduced a talented and eclectic singer, songwriter and rapper from Colorado with a versatile style. His unique sound pairs a verbose lyrical flow with smooth, melodic r&b vibes.

Since his debut the prolific artist has produced an impressive volume of work. In just five years he has released two full-length albums, two EPs and seventeen singles on his own independent record label, Still Maccin Entertainment. He has connected with fans around the world thanks to hits like “Humble” and “Drownin”.

NIFF is the rapper’s brand new eponymous EP, released worldwide via all major streaming services on December 15, 2022. In recent years NIFF’s sound has evolved over the course of his career. This new 4-song collection continues that evolution as he dives deeply into a world of psychedelic trap vibes and hypnotic melodic bars.

The EP opens on the ambient moods and downtempo braggadocio of “Glow”.  The track sets a dreamy vibe that continues throughout the record. “Get it Now” adds a synthwave bass and a dark emo narrative. Guest rapper joins NIFF on the track with some melodic drill.

“Diamonds” takes a wistful look back at past mistakes, and a determined look toward the future. NIFF alternates between a signature autotune melodic hook and impressive bars in the bridge. Featured rapper takes a turn on the mic for the record’s trippy and meditative closer, “Burning Rubber”.
