In 2016 he obtained his Master of Fine Arts from the Faculty of Fine Art, Music and Design in Bergen, Norway. “Late Night Good Night” is the brand new advanced single from Georg Óskar’s forthcoming debut album, Worst Wait of Our Life, due January 15, 2023. Released exclusively to YouTube, the song is an experimental EDM meditation on love, obsession and the decline of Western civilization. It is also the first of the artist’s releases to include vocals.
A classic analog bass and ambient synths introduce the track. A male vocalist steps to the mic for a spoken word poem about love, lust and obsession. In the video, three beautiful women vamp for the camera in response to the narrator’s admiration. His observations grow darker until the song devolves into a dystopian industrial apocalyptic fantasy.
