Craymo is a veteran award-winning singer/songwriter who first caught the public eye in 1989 as a contestant on Ed McMahon’s groundbreaking and immensely popular television talent show Star Search. The show was the precursor to modern day competitions like America’s Got Talent, American Idol and The Voice.
Known to family and friends as Craig Stephen Raymo, Craymo has spent the subsequent decades since his television debut making uplifting dance and pop music. In that time the Orlando-based musician’s songs have been featured in numerous film and TV productions. An organic/electronic hybrid mix of synths, strings, live bass and guitar lay down an infectious funk as Craymo steps to the mic. He drops a soulful ultimatum for an indecisive lover, calling on them to stop playing games with his heart. Meanwhile, the beat pulls us onto the dancefloor.
