OP is the professional name of emerging independent Italian singer/songwriter Leonardo Beltri. He made his professional solo recording debut in 2017 with the eight-song collection, Outinout Project. That record introduced a talented and versatile musician who cites groundbreaking artists like Peter Gabriel and David Bowie as inspiration for his unique brand of soulful and cerebral pop/rock.
In the five years since his debut, he has released three albums and a string of successful singles. He has connected with fans around the world with hits like “Thank You Dad” and the Kate Bush cover, “Hello Earth”. With sound that marries old and new, he combines the progressive rock of the singer’s 70s and 80s heroes with modern sensibilities and production techniques
“Our River” is the current single and title track from the singer’s latest album, available worldwide via all major streaming services. The album features two versions of the song, a melancholy piano ballad opener and the guitar-driven ‘band version’ which closes the album. The song tells the metaphoric and vaguely biblical tale of a man barricaded in his house waiting for a nearby river to flood.
