Al B is a veteran independent hip-hop artist who made his solo professional recording debut in 2022 with the single “No Sleep”. That track introduced a talented rapper and songwriter from Stockton, California. He cites hip-hop pioneers like Kendrick Lamar, Lil Wayne, Mozzy, and J Cole as his inspiration for his sound.
Since dropping his first track in September, the prolific rapper has released a total of three singles. He followed the lo-fi debut with the hard rap “STYL’N X WIL’N”. In short order he has established himself as a skilled emcee on the rise, making a name for himself with a verbose lyrical flow and a taste for dramatic trap beats.
“Hills” is the latest single from AL B, released worldwide via all major streaming services on December 2, 2022. Ambient synths open the track. Soon the beat drops on a chill downtempo trap groove and an infectiously catchy piano chord progression. On the mic the rapper drops a melodic rap love song as psychedelic effects create a dreamy vibe.
