Alyssa Erasquin is an award-winning vocalist who made her international solo recording debut in 2022. Working with producer and songwriter Alexander Flores, the multi-lingual Filipino singer released two singles last year. The songs represent the next phase of a musical career that began when the singer was just 4 years-old.
Throughout her youth, Alyssa Erasquin competed in singing competitions all around the Philippines. She has won numerous televised regional and national vocal showdowns in the Philippines. She was the champion of a string of shows like Baguio Got Talent, Enchanted Kingdom Talent Search, and The Voice of Urdaneta.
“In Love Again” is the latest single from Alyssa Erasquin. The song was released worldwide via all major streaming services on Christmas Eve, December 24, 2022. It is also the singer’s English language debut.
Erasquin’s excellent performance recalls the great jazz/pop singers of the 70’s, like Carole King and Carly Simon. Ethereal strings paint the edges of the mix as the singer delivers a powerfully emotional Flores-penned torch song. The tune tells the tale of an unrequited teenage crush.
