Moonlight Saints Debut New Acid Rock Thunder

moonlight saints

Moonlight Saints is a rock & roll power trio with sound that harkens back to the big riff grooves of early psychedelic rockers of the 60’s and 70’s. It was a time when bands like Black Sabbath and Deep Purple ruled. They held court with seismic rhythm sections and deep fuzz tone guitar riffs cranked to 11.

Evan Couture (vocals/guitar), Will Couture (drums), and Darren Boulrice (bass/guitar) first joined forces in 2019. The Brookfield, Massachusetts crew found they had a shared affinity for big guitar-rock from the the 60s to the 90s. They are making their professional recording debut in 2023

“Bottom Again” is the brand new single from Moonlight Saints, released worldwide via all major streaming services on January 13, 2023. The track rolls on a swampy, blues-infused guitar riff that lands stylistically somewhere between Jimi Hendrix’s “Machine Gun” and Mountain’s “Mississippi Queen”. And like their forefathers, Moonlight Saints leave plenty of room for drum solos and wailing acid rock guitar. On the mic, Couture delivers a soulful and period-perfect performance.
