Mic Fort is the professional name of emerging independent hip-hop artist Michael Fort. Formerly known as ‘Insanity’, he made his professional solo recording debut in 2016 with the single “City Lights”. That track introduced a multitalented and versatile rapper, songwriter and producer from Chicago, Illinois.
Since his debut, the prolific Mic Fort has produced over a dozen singles and two album; 2019’s Dreams 2 Goals and 2020’s Penumbra. He has connected with hip-hop fans around the world thanks to hits like “Trust Myself” and “Livin Life”. On his latest single, the rapper has teamed up with fellow Illinois artist, Analicia Lasett.
“Lived Twice” is the brand new single from Mic Fort, released worldwide via all major streaming services on January 27, 2023. Horns and string introduce the track with a smooth, 70’s soul vibe.
