The rapper cites a long list of iconic East & West Coast pioneers as influences. These were the originators who inspired the young Ham to pick up the mic and write his own rhymes.

"Some people just think of this as music, but really hip-hop was an educational movement. These forces assisted in making me the man that I am today."

Cyber Security Flow V2 Meraki Remix” is the latest single from H.A.M, available exclusively on Rapfame.com. Congas and some smooth jazz piano introduces the track before the beat drops on a chilled, downtempo boom-bap groove. Horns and keys add a bit of soul and psychedelia.  On the mic, H.A.M drops a high-tech old-school verbose lyrical freestyle about the importance of locking your data down.

8 Questions with H.A.M

Where are you from?

Hollywood FL

How long have you been making music?

I just started to record songs last October of 2023.

Who are the musicians involved in your project?

Right now I’m a one man show. I mainly record/work with beats from Meraki Muzik.

Who are your biggest musical influences?

My first “teachers” from Hip Hop music were like Rakim, KRS One and BDP,  Big Daddy Kane, Public Enemy, Ice T, NWA, MC Lyte, Queen Latifah, Salt N Pepa, Heavy D, Pete Rock, etc. (My apologies for leaving out a lot of others, it’s just that the memory ain’t what it used to be…😎

What is your greatest non-musical influence?

Greatest influence outside of music is G.O.D= Greater Organizational Design/Designer. This is just my personal explanation of what is within me, and all around me at all times. Then there’s my Mom/O.G.=”Ol Girl”. She gave me a lot, and I want to return what was invested.

What inspired you to create this project?

What inspired me to make Cyber Security flow was the need for new “mental food”. It’s like when I listen to others on Rap Fame, a lot of it is “beef” i.e. killing, crime, drugs, etc. I wanted the listener to get something clean (no curses), intellectually stimulating, and sounds good. I want to “Hustle And Motivate ” my listeners/users in a positive way, busy still keep it real. Also, I wanted to educate my audience about IT.

What are your plans for the future (musically)?

For the future, the immediate future is the 25th of February which is my drop date on all platforms for 3 singles. But yeah, I just see more “cyber” rhymes being written. If the audience shows support for the movement, then we keep it moving.

Is there anything else you would like to say?

Lastly… Don’t sleep on BrowHard County. More info on www.browhard.com. If you’re a Hip Hop listener from the 80’s and 90’s, need some substance in the rhymes, are tired of drill beats, I got you %100. P.e.a.c.e.
