Go Crazy Love is an exciting new musical project from the creative team at Studio Romano, a SoCal-based virtual artist colony. The collaborative international community is the brainchild of multimedia artist, author, screenwriter, songwriter and entrepreneur, Nic Romano. From his home in Dana Point, California, the multifaceted creator works with musicians, actors, writers and visual artists around the world to bring his creations to life.
Throughout his 30+ year career, Nic Romano & Studio Romano have produced a deep portfolio of original work. He has created seven romance genre screenplays, seven pop songs, culinary products, websites, apparel marketing campaigns, a local farm-to-fork produce company, a pizza game app, as well as panorama sunset and culinary photography. He finds inspiration in working with others, and in the muses of the spiritual realm. In Greek mythology, the muses were Zeus’ nine daughters who were responsible for igniting artists’ creative spark.

Go Crazy Love is the new nine-track collection from Studio Romano. The record is a musical experiment in songwriting and composition. Inspired by scenes in two of his original screenplays, Nic Romano wrote the lyrics to three love songs. He then recruited the talents of three musicians from around the world to compose and record their own version of the pieces.
Olya Gram is an independent singer/songwriter who grew up in a small town in Ukraine. In recent years she has traveled the world as a performer for Disney’s Cruise line, and as an internationally charting recording artist. She has topped charts as a solo artist and with collaborators like Belgium DJ, Flying Decibels. In 2022 Olya relocated to Los Angeles and began collaborating with Studio Romano.
On the album, Olya offers three expertly crafted, cinematic and emotionally charged pop ballads. Accompanied by piano, she delivers a powerful rendition of the title track, a soliloquy of a woman lost in love’s confusion. The wistful torch song “If You Go” follows before the whole affair collapses in the relationship post-mortem “Nothing Left to Say.”
After a classical instrumental version of “Nothing Left to Say ”, Indonesian musician and architect, Syauqi Destanika steps to the mic. Her jazzy indie-pop lo-fi guitar introduces two beautifully soft spoken interpretations of Romano’s poetry. In soft dream-pop tones, the singer paints the triad of songs with broad soft strokes of angelic vocal harmonies.
Manuela Grippi is an actress, model, voiceover artist and musician from Alba, Italy. The singer closes out the record with intimate and melancholy vocal/piano renditions of “If You Go” and “Nothing Left to Say”. Her melody on the latter is a real highpoint on the record.

8 Q's with Olya Gram About 'Go Crazy, Love'

Where are you from?
I am from Ukraine, from a city called Zaporizhzhia. It’s in the southeast of Ukraine.
How long have you been making music?
I’ve been a singer-songwriter since 2014. I’ve worked in various music venues including European and Los Angeles nightclubs as well as a two-year stint on the Disney Cruise Line as a nightly music entertainer.
Who are the musicians involved in your project?
I am working with lyricist, Nic Romano of Studio Romano, who also resides in southern California. We teamed up in late 2022 to make three romantic love songs. I work as the music composer and singer and Nic writes the lyrics.
What’s amazing is we have never actually met yet in person or spoke on the phone but the collaboration was natural and strong from the very beginning. Nic saw something in my voice and musical style and he wrote to it. We exchange lyrical ideas and notes via text messages at all hours of the day! It really works for us.
Who are your biggest musical influences?
I listen to a lot of music and a lot of different genres. But artists that influenced me the most are Adele, Whitney Houston, Christina Aguilera, Mariah Carey, Leona Lewis, and Taylor Swift.
What is your greatest non-musical influence?
I guess my greatest non-musical influence is my mother! She is amazing, wise, and hard-working. She was always an example for me when I was a young girl. She is my best friend and my true inspiration.
What inspired you to create this project?
Nic inspired me with his amazing lyrics. When I read them, I saw them as beautiful poetry with a lot of emotion and romantic storylines. And who hasn’t felt the power and sometimes pain of falling in love or losing a romantic partner?
What are your plans for the future (musically)?
Studio Romano and I plan to collaborate on more love songs to share with the world. We are now creating a full album of romantic love songs together. We each bring our own talents and ideas to the studio where our artistic journeys cross and create magic. It’s definitely a unique songwriting process but it works perfectly for us.
Is there anything else you would like to say?
I just want to pass along the tenet to always believe in yourself and your dreams. If you have creative ideas in your head, never give up finding ways to bring them to life! Share it with world because this world needs it for sure!
