MaddBayy is the professional name of songwriting and production duo, Niraj and Navin. The two Indian musicians met in a Los Angeles recording studio. In 2020 they launched their new musical collaboration.
The group’s name is a mash-up of the two artists’ familial hometowns. Madras and Bombay are two distant cities in the south and north of India, respectively. By their own estimate, Niraj and Navin are as different as are their two cities. In their music they spin their seemingly disparate styles into a uniquely infectious and dreamy electro-pop vibe.
“Paradise” is the brand new single from MaddBayy, released worldwide via all major streaming services on January 27, 2023. A smooth Spanish guitar opens the track as Navin steps to the mic for a soulful escape fantasy love song. Soon the beat drops on a mellow mid-tempo reggaeton-infused groove and we are transported to distant sun-kissed shores.
