mm11 is the professional name of independent avant-garde composer, producer and recording artist Mark Butler. He made his solo recording debut in September with the release of the single “Breathing Room”. That track introduced an experimental artist who creates deeply personal observations set to abstract soundscapes.
Since his debut, the prolific producer has released eleven singles in just six months. Each track takes listeners on a journey into Butler’s psyche. He creates loose, abstract and organic instrumentals, often paired with spoken-word observations on his personal life and/or societal views.
“The Father’s Lullaby” is the latest single from mm11, released worldwide via all major streaming services on March 2, 2023. A solo piano opens the track as MArk sings the esoteric lullaby of the title. Ambient synths and sound effects paint the periphery and expand the horizon as the piece floats off into a lo-fi ambient dream.
