Jalon is the professional name of emerging independent singer/songwriter Jalon Batiste. He made his solo professional recording debut in 2021 with the single “Right Time”. That track introduced a talented young artist from Long Beach, California with a laid-back and soulful vibe.
He cites popular neo-soul and hip-hop artists like Brent Fraiyaz , Chris Brown , Bryson Tiller , Kendrick Lamar and Jhene Aiko as inspiration for his sound. The 19 year-old recently returned to the scene with his sophomore single. The track is a collaboration with the singer’s friend, independent producer and beat maker Semaj Warmsley.
