Cailo is the professional name of emerging independent singer, songwriter and producer Caitlin Lowe. The San Francisco Bay area native made her professional solo recording debut in 2015. Regular readers of The Static Dive will remember last year’s “All Your Love.”
Since her debut, the prolific producer has dropped a string of popular singles and EPs. She has connected with fans around the world with hits like “Time and Again” and “Fck You”. The genre-fluid artist has developed a unique sound that mixes pop, dance, r&b and gospel elements into an uplifting EDM vibe.
“Dreams” is the brand new single from Cailo, released worldwide via all major streaming services on March 3, 2023. A solo piano accompanies the singer as she introduces the track as a soulful and melancholy ballad. However, soon the beat drops and the song transforms into a progressive-house/dream-pop dance floor escape fantasy. Percussive arpeggios, bouncing chords and ambient synths create an ethereal scene as Cailo passionately sings of her utopian dream world.
