Martin Lee is an emerging independent songwriter, multi-instrumentalist producer, and artist who is making his solo professional recording debut in 2023. Known primarily as a guitar player, the Seattle, Washington musician recently launched a project in an entirely new musical realm than that of his previous work.
Over the last decade, Martin Lee has worked as an artist and producer on various pop and rock projects. However, his musical tastes have always been much broader. The eclectic musician cites a wide multi-genre array of iconic musicians as inspiration, including The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, David Guetta and Alesso. Two months ago, the long time EDM fan decided to try his hand at producing house music.
“Love” is the debut single from Martin Lee, released worldwide via all major streaming services on March 6, 2023. An acoustic piano opens the track, playing the song’s main hook. Soon the beat drops and an analog synth bass lays deep and fuzzy sawtooth tones on a chilled organic house groove. All the while, a sampled female vocal repeats the song’s title as a dreamy mantra.
