NOAPOLOGY is a four-piece modern rock group who just dropped their debut original single and video. However, the quartet from Ukraine hit the ground running, with the momentum of a few hundred-million YouTube views behind them. For the past nine years two of the band’s members have hosted a hugely popular channel featuring their renditions of rock & roll classics.
Vocalist Daria Zaritskaya and guitarist Sergey Sershen launched the channel in 2013. Since then, they and their friends have achieved some astronomical streaming numbers with their versions of iconic songs like AC/DC’s “Back in Black” (20M) and Bon Jovi’s “Livin’ on a Prayer” (14M). In 2022 the siren and the shredder teamed up with two of their frequent collaborators, Alex Shturmak (bass) and Dmitry Kim (drums), to debut their first original song as NOAPOLOGY.
“Ashes” is the new single and video from NOAPOLOGY, available worldwide via all major streaming services and YouTube. The song was written in response to the devastation of war in the band’s home country. Deep ambient synths set a dark mood as the singer steps to the mic. A world-class rock vocalist, Daria delivers her emotional testimony with soul and passion. The band is impeccable, laying down some radio-perfect modern rock power.
