SNO 9ine is an emerging independent hip-hop artist who made his debut on SoundCloud two years ago with the track “New Flex”. That song introduced a skilled emcee from Montgomery, Alabama with a smooth lyrical flow. He cites Michigan rappers like Rio Da Yung OG, RMC Mike, Babytron, and Krispylife Kid as major inspirations for his sound.
Since his debut, the prolific rapper has dropped a dozen more singles. With each new track he further defines and refines his sound. 2023 has already been a productive year for SNO 9ine. He has released four new singles in just the past week.
“Megatron” is one of the latest tracks from SNO 9ine, released worldwide via SoundCloud on March 19, 2023. A sample of Harry Belafonte’s “Banana Boat (Day-O)” introduces the song before the beat drops on a lo-fi downtempo 808 hip-hop groove. On the mic the rapper delivers a witty and verbose old-school freestyle, bragging, dissing and telling stories from the neighborhood.
