Anchen Ji is an emerging singer, songwriter, and entrepreneur based in Boston, Massachusetts. She made her professional solo recording debut in 2022 with the single “Stars”. The track marked a pivotal point in the artist’s life and career.
After a life-altering divorce, Anchen Ji embarked on a new musical journey of self-discovery. The single mother and scientist studied vocal performance and music business via the online offerings of Boston’s world-renowned Berklee College of Music. Working with Berklee alumni Chengcheng (Troy) Tang and Tyller Bolton, the singer recently released her follow-up sophomore single.
“Wait It Out” is the brand new single from Anchen Ji, released worldwide via all major streaming services on March 9, 2023. Lo-fi percussion, electronic arpeggios and ambient synths introduce the track, painting a dreamy ethereal scene. Anchen Ji steps to the mic with a heartbreaker of a love song as she tries to convince her paramour to stay and give their love another chance. Airy vocal harmonies paint the edges of the mix as the beat builds to a chill trap/indie-pop groove.
