Kimkima is an emerging independent singer, songwriter and guitarist from Mizoram, India. He made his solo professional international recording debut in 2017. An award-winning recording artist and performer, he has earned praise throughout his home state and beyond for his expert musicianship and insightful songwriting.
Since his debut, Kimkima has connected with fans around the world via his popular YouTube channel. He has released a string of popular hits including the video “Ka Ngai Che”. That 2022 collaboration with pop singer Gnie currently has over 1.2 million views. Kimkima has won awards throughout India thanks to hit singles like “Rangkadartuiluani” and “Ka Thinlung Tan Rukru”. He has been awarded numerous “Best Male Artist” and “Songwriter of The Year” titles by independent music organizations in India.
“I Zun Ngaih Lunglen Vangin” is a recent single from Kimkima, available worldwide via all major streaming services. A bluesy lead guitar opens the track as modern rock ensemble lays down a mellow downtempo groove. On the mic, the singer offers a melancholy torch song.
