Gregory Lioi is a singer, songwriter, guitarist and self-described ‘rock & roll idealist’. A veteran of numerous bands over the years, he launched a new solo project in 2022. With a sound that pairs classic rock riffs with infectious pop hooks, he pens insightful cultural critiques.
Since his solo debut in November of last year, the prolific Gregory Lioi has released five singles. He has connected with fans around the world thanks to popular tracks like “When We Die?” and “Sometimes I Feel”, a critical look at our social media obsessed society.
“Realize” is the latest single from Gregory Lioi, released worldwide via all major streaming services on April 8, 2023. With a sound that lands somewhere between Elvis Costello and The Turtles, a rock & roll ensemble of bass, drums, guitar and keys lays down an upbeat indie-pop groove. On the mic, the singer directs our attention to the many failures of this world with some witty wordplay. It’s a fun sound, but the message is dire.
