Astronoz is an emerging independent electronic music producer who made his solo professional recording debut in 2019 with the single “The Bat”. That track introduced a talented and eclectic artist from Laval, Quebec, Canada. He creates cinematic downtempo genre-fluid instrumentals that defy simple classifications.
Although he only recently went public with his music, Astronoz had been carefully crafting his sound for 14 years before releasing it to the world. Since his debut, the prolific producer has dropped six singles and the ten-track album Midnight Stories. For inspiration he cites iconic instrumental and electronic composers like John Williams, Hans Zimmer, Deadmau5 and Moby.
“You” is the brand new single from Astronoz, released worldwide via all major streaming services on March 18, 2023. A melodic electric guitar and staccato piano arpeggios open the track. Ambient synths expand the horizon as the beat drops on a syncopated hip-hop groove. Hypnotic vocal samples and percussive analog synths paint the edges of the mix as the track gradually transforms into a dreamy synthwave scene.
