Jesse Miles is an independent recording artist and globe-trotting adventurer who chronicles his travels in song. Now based in the United States, he was raised in Indonesia. He made his solo professional recording debut in 2020 with the three-song EP Just a Beginner. That track introduced a talented Telecaster-toting singer/songwriter with an insatiable case of wanderlust.
In just three years since his debut, the prolific performer has released five EPs, two albums and a handful of singles. His popular YouTube channel features his songs paired with scenes from his many global adventures. When not collecting passport stamps, Jesse can be found performing around the US Pacific Northwest.
“Go On an Adventure!” is the current single from Jesse Miles latest album Pacific, released worldwide via all major streaming services on December 7, 2022. The track opens on the monologue of a couch potato complaining about his sedentary existence. Soon the beat drops on a lo-fi three-piece slacker rock groove. On the mic Jesse Miles riffs on the title, offering some conversational carpe diem advice. As the track progresses the band pairs their DIY punk aesthetic with a bit of art-rock complexity.
