Teeardropz is the professional name of singer/songwriter Jonathan Brown. A veteran of the international reggae scene, he made his solo recording debut in 2019 with the single “Rich To.” That track introduced a hitmaking recording artist from Trelawny, Jamaica with a sound that pairs modern styles with classic island rhythms.
Since his debut, Teeardropz has released a string of successful singles. He has connected with reggae fans worldwide. His hit single “Wake up List” currently has over five hundred thousand spins on Spotify and has been played on stations around the world, including Hot 97 in NYC on Bobby Konders’ influential reggae and dancehall show. The singer followed that smash with the Cheri Janae duet “Perfidia Love” which has over 270K streams and counting.
“Dancing Mood” is the latest single and video from Teeardropz, available worldwide via all major streaming services. This is his third release as a solo artist for CEO Calvin “Doc” Flowers’ Chicago-based Manatee Records. The track rolls on a laid-back downtempo groove.
