Stuart Pearson – Miracle Wonder

stuart pearson

We first heard from Stuart Pearson back in 2021. That’s when the New York native dropped his album Mojave. That record introduced The Static Dive readers to a veteran singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist with a unique dark americana style.

Stuart Pearson has traveled extensively throughout his life. Music was his escape as he battled childhood illness, and each of his adopted homes influenced his developing sound. Later the multi-talented musician would go on to front the popular indie-rock/americana band Through the Woods. The band played throughout the 1990s. Pearson went solo in 2000 and the gigs continued, including a spot on the Warped Tour. In the subsequent years he released a string of successful singles, EPs, and albums.

“Miracle Wonder” is the brand new single from Stuart Pearson, released worldwide via all major streaming services on April 21, 2023. Pearson launches the tune with a raspy Tom Waits-style growl. The band meets that mood as the beat drops on a fabulously loose and bluesy percussive trash can groove. Fuzz guitar riffs and a Hammond organ paint the edges of the mix as the singer offers a cautionary tale about snake-oil salesman and too good to be true miracles cures.
