Mark Gallo is a veteran independent singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist producer who is launching a new phase of his solo career in 2023. A New York native, he has been making music professionally since the 1990’s. He performed in a number of popular Northeast bands over the years. Most notably, his group Arden Reign released the full length album Night Worlds in 2005.
In recent years Mark Gallo has performed live with his own band while recording original material in his studio. As he began working on solo material, Mark took the opportunity to learn aspects of the recording process. He wanted to capture the sounds he heard in his head without the interpretation of another recording engineer. He now writes, records, and produces all his own material.
“Way Out There” is the brand new single from Mark Gallo, released worldwide via all major streaming services on April 22, 2023. A melodic acoustic guitar chord progression opens the track in a mellow 70’s rock mood. Bass, drums, strings, electric guitars, and analog synths all soon join the ensemble and continue the art-rock vibes. On the mic, Mark Gallo servers-up an emotional heartbreak anthem.
