Ghost Of You Drops Apocalyptic New Rocker ‘Southbound’

Ghost of You are an emerging independent rock & roll band who made their debut in 2022 with the single “Heartbreak Creepin”. That track introduced a supergroup of veterans from Atlanta, Georgia’s legendary music scene. They specialize in high-octane, guitar-fueled, barn-burner rock built on equal parts 90’s alternative, 80’s metal, and 70’s classic rock.

Cleve Willis (vocals),  Danny Silvestri (guitar), and Blake Parris (bass) have played with everyone from Rockets to Ruin to Katy Perry. In Ghost of You they bring all that experience and influence together into an infectious mix of post-alternative rock. Helping them bring this sound to life are legendary ATL studio pros Tuk Smith and Dan Dixon, and a rotating roster of drummers that includes Ben White (pictured) for live performances, Rob Hammersmith for videos, and Nigel Dupree & Mike Froedge in the studio.

“Southbound” is the latest single from Ghost Of You, available worldwide via all major streaming services. On the first beat the track drops on an immediately memorable Les Paul riff. With one foot in the deep South and the other on the Sunset Strip, the band lays down driving rocker. On the mic, in a perfect radio-ready mix of abandon and technique, Cleve Willis offers an apocalyptic tale of power run amok.
