Sin City is the professional name of emerging independent recording artist and multi-instrumentalist producer, Sinan Golhan. The genre-bending songwriter made his solo professional recording debut in 2021 with the single “All My Life”. That track introduced a multi-talented and eclectic musician with an experimental sound that blends elements of pop, hip-hop and rock into his own high-vibe downtempo psychedelic groove.
The Turkish-American artist was born Born in London and moved to Istanbul with his family at the age of 10. A lifelong musician, Golhan learned to play a number of instruments at an early age. Now based in San Diego, California, he started writing his own songs original material four years ago.
“Moon” is the latest single from Sin City, released worldwide via all major streaming services on April 28, 2023. As the track opens, ambient synths and a haunting female vocal sample introduce a dreamy vibe. Electronic arpeggios spin on the periphery as a live drummer lands on a laid-back funk groove. Sinan and featured vocalist take turns on the mic, rapping an old-school freestyle in the verse and dropping a trippy and infectiously catchy sing-song melody in the chorus. The song closes on a bluesy psychedelic rock guitar solo.
