Delgado is an emerging independent Haitian recording artist who made his solo professional recording debut in 2020 with the single “Look at Me Now”. That track introduced a multifaceted singer, rapper, and songwriter with a soulful and genre-fluid vibe.
Originally from Haiti and now based in Brooklyn, New York, Delgado first started writing songs over six years ago. However, until recently music was little more than a hobby. With the release of his latest track, the skilled emcee is taking his career to the next level. He cites NOLA hip-hop icon Lil Wayne as a primary influence on his sound.
“Monument” is the brand new single from Delgado, released worldwide via all major streaming services on April 20, 2023. The track opens on a melodic acoustic intro before the beat falls on a laid-back downtempo beat. Subterranean bass tones rattle the floor as the singer and guest vocalist Adino take turns on the mic, singing and rapping in French and Creole.
