MickyLee is an emerging independent recording artist who made his solo professional recording debut in 2022 with the single “Champagne”. That track introduced a genre-bending singer, songwriter and rapper who makes music for the fun of it. An avid gamer, he teamed up with some of his online comrades to share his distinct musical stylings with a larger audience.
Originally from Northern California, MickyLee now calls Oklahoma City home. Since his debut, the singer has released three singles. The aptly titled “GetWeirder” dropped in April and is currently racking thousands of streams across multiple platforms. His sound is a fun and quirky mix of tongue-in-cheek modern indie-pop and old-school hip-hop.
“Gentleman do” is the brand new single from MickyLee, released worldwide via all major streaming services on May 6, 2023. A live bass guitar opens the track before the beat drops on a lo-fi funk groove. On the mic the singer drops a fun and funny freestyle about proper bedroom etiquette.
The gamer and his crew have a number of new projects in the works. He has two new songs scheduled for release on June 1, “Pocket Change” and “onb.” After that they will complete a song inspired by MMORPG (massively multiplayer online role-playing games).
