VunDane is an emerging independent electronic artist who made his solo debut in May of last year. Based in Charlotte, North Carolina, the genre-bending IDM composer weaves elements of house, trip-hop, synthwave and electronica into richly layered soundscape. It’s a cool, eclectic and dreamy vibe.
In the twelve months since his debut, the prolific producer has released seventeen singles and the EP Elgans Monstrum. That six-song collection was featured on these pages upon its release in December 2022. He has continued his productive pace, releasing new music monthly in 2023.
“Girl Bad ” is the brand new single from VunDane, released worldwide via all major streaming services on June 3, 2023. A pulsing deep house beat introduces the track. Swirling analog arpeggios and minor-key ambient keys introduce a haunting synthwave vibe. Syncopated glitch rhythms paint the edges of the mix as hypnotic chopped female vocal sample riffs on the title.
