Hamasu Drops New Single & Video

hamasu

Hamasu is an emerging independent hip-hop artist who made his professional solo recording debut in April with the single “YES!” That track introduced a talented and experimental rapper, singer, and songwriter with a sound that is built on hip-hop beats, pop hooks, and EDM vibes.

Originally from Pakistan, Hamasu is currently based in the United States. By day he works as a software engineer. When not writing code, he’s writing rhymes and making beats. He cites cutting edge artists like Kanye West, Playboi Carti, and Yeat as inspiration for his sound. Since his debut, the prolific producer has released three singles in as many months.

“La Ilaha Illallah” (pronounced ‘la-e-la-ha-Ill-Allah’) is the brand new single from Hamasu, released worldwide via all major streaming services on May 20, 2023. A deep sawtooth synth bass introduces the tune. Soon the beat drops on a downtempo deep house inspired beat. On the mic, the rapper drops a laid-back freestyle about his love of the almighty dollar.
