Toctone is the professional name of veteran producer, DJ, and label owner André Pollmann. The German musician made his professional debut as EBM (electronic body music) artist Apoll in 1987. He eventually made his way to Switzerland and worked throughout the 1990s as DJ and producer in the burgeoning minimal techno scene.
In 2001 André Pollmann founded the Tongut record label. In the years since he has been responsible for bringing music of talented artists like Rene Breitbarth, Falko Brocksieper, Todd Bodine, and Dub Taylor to clubs and radio around the world. In 2020 he introduced his latest solo project, Toctone.
“Cream and Shout” is the brand new single from Toctone, released worldwide via all major streaming services on May 18, 2023. The pulsing beat of a techno kick drum introduces the track. Guest vocalist Aleinad steps to the mic. The singer delivers a dreamy summer anthem with an infectious pop hook over a hypnotic minimal groove.
