S.O.E Hop – Drops New Single & LP

S.E.O Hop

S.O.E Hop is a veteran hip-hop artist who made his solo professional recording debut in 2021 with the single “Big Dawg Shit”. That record introduced a skilled emcee and producer with a unique, genre-fluid style. A Hogansville, Georgia native first started making music 15 years ago.

Growing up without either of his parents, S.O.E Hop found money and acceptance in the hood. He learned tough lessons about surviving and thriving in an unforgiving world. Those memories and the wisdom they brought are now all fodder for his songs.

"I really never had anybody to show me the right way to be a man. So I turned to the streets. Grandma could only do so much”

“Searching” is the current single and opening track from S.O.E Hop’s brand new full length album It Took Time, released worldwide via all major streaming services on May 5, 2023. Cinematic minor-key piano arpeggios open the track. Soon the beat drops on a downtempo trap groove. On the mic, the rapper offers a melodic autobiographical freestyle about growing up on the street, and how he got out.
