Jay-C is an emerging independent Christian hip-hop artist who made his solo professional recording debut in 2021 with the four song EP Passion. That record introduced a skilled emcee and songwriter with a deep faith, and a taste for laid-back hip-hop grooves. Born in Los Angeles, California and raised in Hillsboro, Oregon, he grew up on hip-hop and gospel music.
Since his debut, Jay-C has produced an impressive volume of work including three albums, an EP, and seven singles. He first started producing his own music when he was just fourteen years-old. In recent years he has performed live in local bars and churches in and around his hometown.
