Loading… Please Wait is the professional name of the songwriting and production team formed by bassist Hector Monclús and singer/guitarist Gerard Moreno. Hailing from Tarragona, Spain, the group first got together as a five-piece in 2009. Over the years they experienced a number of lineup changes.
By 2016 Hector and Gerard were a duo and had found their niche. The Loading… Please Wait sound is an upbeat 80s-inspired retro alt-pop party. They make the kind of music they want to hear, and that authenticity shines through in their songs.
“In Our Car” is the debut single from Loading… Please Wait’s brand new album Out of Nowhere, released worldwide via all major streaming services on June 23, 2023. A percussive synth melody opens the track as the beat drops on a classic drum machine groove. On the mic, Moreno sings a fun and quirky tale about a four-door dance party as a mix of organic and electronic instruments lay down a cool retro new wave synth-funk groove.
