“No Guru” is the brand new single from Princess Nostalgia, released worldwide via all major streaming services on June 21, 2023. Lyrically, the singer often pairs her psychedelic electro-funk experiments with existential observations and philosophical contemplations. “No Guru” is no exception. A sawtooth synth bass rides a groovy syncopated beat as hypnotic harmonies and percussive arpeggios as Princess considers the merits of a private spiritual journey, culminating in the infectiously catchy mantra ‘never need a guru’.
