Margarita Shamrakov is a singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist producer based in New York City. The multifaceted artist first appeared on these pages way back in 2020 upon the release of her single “IHOP Love“. That track introduced a classically trained composer and visual artist with a poet’s pen.
Originally from Ukraine, Margarita Shamrakov came to the United States over twenty years ago to pursue her creative and professional dreams. She is a genre-defying recording artist who writes musically sophisticated, cerebral, and deeply personal songs about life, love, and the world, as seen through the eyes of a single mother living in the Big Apple. “You Left Me All Alone” is the brand new single from Margarita Shamrakov, released worldwide via all major streaming services on June 28, 2023. A solo piano opens the track with a descending chord progression. Vocalist Theo Mann steps to the mic with a soulful tale of love and loneliness. Soon the beat drops on a funky drum and bass groove as lush vocal harmonies paint the edges of the mix. The yin and yang of melancholy lyrics with an feel-good dance beat was intentional, the composer explains.
