Sebastian Kuchczynski is an accomplished drummer and music producer making his solo recording debut in 2023. The three-time Fryderyk Award nominee (Poland’s Grammys) has worked and studied with virtuosos around the world. Now the multi-talented artist is taking center stage.
The accomplished musician moved from Poland to Boston in 2017 to attend that city’s prestigious Berklee College of music. After graduating from the Global Jazz Master’s Program, he moved to New York City. There Sebastian Kuchczynski has worked with a growing and diverse array of talented artists including Terry Lyne Carringtone, George Garzone, Dephrase, Victor Mendoza, Danilo Perez, Joe Lovano, and more.
“Drifting” is the debut single from Sebastian Kuchczynski, released worldwide via all major streaming services on June 14, 2023. The track opens on a chilled downbeat organic funk groove. An electric piano, analog synths, and the occasional blues guitar riff float in the mix. On the mic, Autumn Jones and Panagiotis Andreou sing and rap a soulful tale of a search for meaning and connection. Floating on a metaphorical lake, the singer experiences isolation, disillusion, and ultimately the resolve to find her way home.
