Artemis is an emerging independent singer-songwriter who made her solo professional recording debut in March of last year with the single “Welcome to Wonderland”. That track introduced an award-winning vocalist who has earned trophies in multiple categories, competing against singers from 40 different countries in the World Championship of the Performing Arts.
In 2019, Artemis decided to expand her repertoire, and went back to school to earn her degree in audio engineering. Since then the prolific performer has released six singles. She has clocked over 300K spins on Spotify with popular songs like “Tell Me” and “Don’t Leave Me Alone”, both released earlier this year.
“Bésame” (kiss me) is the brand new single from Artemis, released worldwide via all major streaming services on May 26, 2023. A Spanish guitar accompanies the singer as the track opens. Singing in both English and Spanish, she delivers a hypnotic and soulful love song in a dreamy high-soprano, as the beat drops on a chilled downtempo Latin-tinged 808 groove.
