Encomia is an emerging independent alternative electronic duo making their professional recording debut in 2023. The enigmatic coed songwriting and production pair have already created an underground buzz for their genre-bending style. Based in Berlin, Germany, Encomia are currently working on the release of their debut EP evacuation. Of all their many influences, the group points to the rich music culture of their legendary hometown as the primary influence on their future garage vibe. They recently dropped the first sampling of that sound with the release of their brief but intriguing new single.
“evacuation” is the debut single from Encomia, released worldwide via all major streaming services on March 31, 2023. Clocking in at just over one minute, the song is a peek under the hood for what’s to come from this exciting new duo. The song opens on a late night darkwave dance club vibe as a female vocalist steps to the mic. Soon the beat drops on a glitch and dubstep-infused EDM banger while the singer delivers her dreamy and esoteric tale in a sultry tone.
