Velvet 100 is the professional name of veteran American musician and producer Robert W. Shallenberger, Jr. After years of working with touring bands, the road warrior musician hit the studio. He launched his solo project in 2021 with a self-titled 6-song EP, introducing a hypnotic mix of deep house beats and nu-disco vibes.
Since his debut, Velvet 100 has released three follow-up singles. The BMI recording artist has connected with fans around the world with popular tracks like last year’s “Move”. He now boasts hundreds of thousands of listeners each month across multiple platforms. Specializing in chilled dance grooves and nuanced and euphoric soundscapes, the prolific producer describes his atmospheric sound as ‘Chic meets Sade’.
