Poizion Flux is an emerging independent recording artist and producer who made his solo professional debut in 2022. He connected with fans around the world with a pair of genre-bending singles, “Can’t Phase Me” and “Miserably Lately”. Those records introduced a multi-talented musician and composer with an experimental alt/hip-hop vibe.
A native of Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada, Poizion Flux is not one for the spotlight and keeps his identity mostly hidden. A veteran of the Canadian Armed Forces, he suffers from PTSD after serving his country overseas. Music is escape, and catharsis.
“Hold Me Down” is the brand new single from Poizion Flux, released worldwide via all major streaming services on August 16. The track is his first release of 2023. After a trippy vocal intro the beat drops on classic ‘Going Back to Cali’-style groove. On the mic, the rapper matches that jazzy old-school groove with a defiant freestyle that would sound right at home on those fabulous old Def Jam records.
